1. This exact list of words and definitions will be provided to each student on Monday's. Students will be mastering Dictionary skills on Monday's by looking up these words, parts of speech learned (noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb), and definitions.
2. Each Friday we will have a Vocabulary Test that will consist of either a multiple choice quiz or Spelling and using the word in a sentence. These are skills they will NEED to have in 4th grade and above. Look for these weekly words in their "Take-Home-Folder."
3. Test this week will be Friday, May th. Students will have to use the vocabulary word appropriately in a sentence. Each sentence MUST have proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Additionally, students will be required to have at least ONE sentence that ends with a period, one that ends with a question mark, and one that ends in an exclamation mark (Declarative, Interrogative, Exclamatory). These were all taught in the 1st two quarters. All other sentences can end with a period if they choose.
