Week of August 30,2010
This week we will focus on:
1. Holding our crayons properly and taking care of them
2. Using our math manipulatives properly and putting them away.
3. Continue learning the rules and procedures
Pre-K has a class pet, so to speak. :) We have a caterpillar and two pupas! We got them from Mrs. Stolp's yard. They are now living in our butterfly cage. We also got to see a Swallowtail butterfly up close. It stayed on Mrs. Stolp's hand so she could walk around and show the kids. It was really cool!
Odds and Ends~
1. Please send an item for our Christmas basket. A SMCS parent, who is a famous gingerbread house maker, has donated one of her masterpieces for our basket. Hobby Lobby has some Christmas things, plus a 40% coupon this week. Every little bit helps.
2. The school wish list is located by the office. Pre-K has a few items on it.
3. If you do not want your child to have strawberry or chocolate for lunch, let Mrs. Broadwater know. There is a change from last year and the children are now allowed to choose! Let us know also.
